Tori and Tennis

I made a point of getting to Tori's lesson early to take pix. She is progressing very well. Her coach, Brian, is pleased with her progress despite the lack of peers to play with. Her class has younger, less experienced players in it. But he is good about trying to keep her challenged. He is teaching her the spin serve (don't ask me what that is). She says it is hard but Brian is sure she'll get it soon. We are hoping business picks up so she can attend a class in Auburn for older kids next month. It might have to wait til spring. (Mark was amazed how much she looks like Kari in these pix!) I am glad she enjoys tennis and has a goal to play in high school. The coach knows this too so is working to get her to a high playing level for that time. It is rewarding to see your children find something they enjoy, work hard at it and succeed.

Sweet Tori! Good job! Tennis is a tough sport. I was never able to hit the ball right. So that's awesome that you're so good at it.
