Painting Day

After working last year and not being home, the summer was a nice break. It also cured me of looking at the same white walls everyday. I was tired of them! So about two months ago, I brought home 30+ paint chips and plastered them on the walls. After weeks of deliberation and many helpful comments from visitors it was narrowed down. The color was Mother Nature. Another month went by and we still liked the color, so when paint went on sale we went for it. Today, we took advantage of the day off and painted the living room! Or part of it anyway. Actually we had originally planned on painting the wall with the sliding door but changed our minds and I am glad we did. Tori was huge help. She was excited about using the rolling brush but found it not too her liking. She must have gotten that from Grandma Snow who hated to paint!:) But she did a great job with the taping and trim work. Thanks Tori!!
