Thanksgiving visits

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with Bryan, Heather, Scotty, Tyler, Emmalee, Tate, Jody, Dawn, Mark, Brooke, Kelsie, Shayna, Becca, Austin, Nana and Papa. Having the Snows stay with us was a blast...getting to know the kids better and hanging out. Scotty planted himself infront of the GameCube and didn't leave unless forced. :) We had a fun day the ranch on Thanksgiving Day...riding the go-cart and playing games. The kids all got along...which was astounding! Friday, Heather, Tori and I tackled the stores and got some good deals..though our arms were sore the next day from holding all our stuff in line for an hour at Kohls. After lunch we went for 5-6 mile bike ride on some trails here in Lincoln. Brenna made it all the way down the street before pooping out! We chained her bike up to a post and she rode in the trailer the rest of the way. Scotty did a great job riding on his own. Brett had some technical difficulties with his bike but made it home with minimal cuts and scratches. (I think his bike has it out for him.) We hit TCBY friday night and it turns out they have a 40% off deal on Black Friday! Who knew?! Sat we went out for breakfast and then headed into Sacramento to go to the Railroad Museum. They had a toy train display...which was actually about 10 large table with all different toy train set- ups complete with towns and all. The kids got a kick out of that. I personally liked the lego trains! The Snows decided to leave early and try to beat the traffic but we had a great time while they were here. Tori, Brett and I went up to play games with Tate, Jody, Mom and Dad Sat night and had fun...we played Beyond Balderdash. It was both Tori and Brett's first time and they did great! We especially liked Tori's description of what happened on April 23, 1945. "There was a disease in Russia." :) Sunday morning we headed out to be with the Cheney's for Austin's blessing. It was beautifully done and the kids were excited to be with cousins in church! :) Lots of crayons and books! We had a nice time visiting with Mark Cheney's sister and her family too! After changing at home we headed back up to the ranch for dinner and more games. Nana and Papa leave Wed for Australia so we got the low down on taking care of the place while they're gone. We are planning on crashing there this weekend and enjoying the TV! :P Hope you had a great Thanksgiving break!
