Gorgeous!

Our set up! Notice the sweaters, jackets and towels converted into blankets.

Becca and Karlee trying to keep warm as they eat lunch.

Brooke decided she'd be warmer if she was buried.

She was right. :)

Austin, such a boy!

They found the biggest dune to play on!

Watching the kids from the opposite dune.

Chatting away..

This is a view from the top of the dune we were playing on. Papa, Mark C and Brooke went for a walk and you can see them coming back our way.

The kids(ok, and us too) lasted about 3 hours and then were done with the wind. We drove up the coast to the Russian River area and went to the Armstrong State Park where they have a nice easy trail through the redwoods. It was just what we needed after our experience at the beach. Here are Kelsie and Bren.

On the hike....it was beautiful!

Karlee on the path. She fell asleep in the car and we had to wake her up to go on the hike. It took her a minute to warm up to the idea.

Someone made a gorilla face out of part of this tree. The kids thought this was hilarious! :)

All the girl cousins!

On the way home we found a nice restaurant in Cotati off the 101 for dinner..ok, we were very sceptical about the 'nice' part to begin with, but it turned out to be perfect. Large variety of food with huge qualities and good quality. Everyone was happy! Overall, a wonderful day!
